Undergraduate River campus Waitlist Housing Application Instructions

On-campus living is very popular at UR and residence hall housing is in high demand. While we will do our best to house all interested students, we cannot guarantee housing for reactivated/readmitted and transfer students. The residency requirement is waived for first-year and sophomores when housing space is not available. Applications are considered based on the date received and the availability of housing.

Once you accept a housing offer, you are entering into a legally binding housing contract.

If you are planning to live off-campus you do not need to complete the housing application. You do need to select a commuter meal plan. Go to https://dining.rochester.edu/meal-plans/off-campus-non-residents/ to submit the Commuter Meal Plan by the due date.
